Historic Shingle Prints

Collected from historic homes on the island, these shingles are weathered, unique and each a one-of-a-kind treasure from the Island.

Many of the shingles are from the iconic Victorian on the Sconset Bluff – Idlemoor. Idlemoor (c. 1884) The house was re-shingled in the Fall of 2026, and the shingles were collected to frame Sconset and Beyond images. 

Other shingles derive from a Whaling captain’s home on Centre Street, Nantucket. The house was re-shingled in the Fall of 2026, and the shingles were collected to frame Sconset and Beyond images.
